DEPUTY MANAGER – PERMANENT – STAFFORDSHIRE
Schedule 2 Recruit are seeking a Deputy Manager to work within a 3 bed home in Newcastle-under-Lyme, supporting young people aged 6 -17 with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.
This Deputy Manager position is perfect for someone with aspirations to become a Registered Manager within the next 12 to 18 months. The company are expanding vastly, which will allow for quick career progression for the right person who is ambitious, hard working and possesses the right skill set.
This position can be worked as either a 2 on 4 off shift pattern, or Monday to Friday (with on call responsibilities), dependant on the applicants preference and experience.
As a Deputy Manager you will be patient, resilient and calming towards the young people in your care. You will create a caring, safe and fun environment within the home and will show genuine enthusiasm and passion for activities and tasks that need to be undertook.

Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ equivalent
- A passion and drive to support children and young people
- Vast experience of working within Children’s residential settings
- Right to work in the UK
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
